1. Excellent acoustical performance

The high absorption function of ceiling materials is essential, it is the first design element, and it can create more effective work, study and medical environment.

2. High sound absorption

Noise reduction coefficient is to measure the ceiling absorption effect, the value is between 0.00 and 1.00. For example, if NRC value is 0.60, the ceiling can absorb 60% voice, deflect 40% echo. Generally speaking, if the NRC value can be more than 0.50, it can be named high sound-absorbing performance ceiling products. The NRC value of Ellson high sound-absorbing ceilings can be more than 0.70 to 0.75.

3. High sound insulation

Sound insulation level (CAC) is to indicate the ceiling sound insulation ability, it is used to evaluate sound waves penetrate ability between the adjacent offices.

The volume faded down after sound waves through the ceiling, then it into the ceiling above space and through cement into the adjacent office, and the volume faded down again. If the conversation does not discern, then that is the appropriate sound insulation level.

High level sound insulation ceiling can prohibit voice out, to guarantee the privacy of conversation. If the CAC value is 40, that means it can prevent 40 decibels voice. The CAC value of the high-grade sound insulation ceiling is more than 35.

4. Excellent light reflectance

The lighting system of an open office normally has three kinds: direct lighting, indirect lighting, mixed lighting. Any kind of lighting are both advantages and disadvantages, but in open spaces or similar environments, the advantage of indirect lighting is better than the other two kinds obviously. The lighting system of indirect lighting can provide softer light source, it can create comfortable surroundings in a work area and also can save energy effectively. 5. High fire resistance

Fire safety is supposed to be taken into serious consideration in the design stage of the building, because the fireproofing of the ceiling systems plays a vital role for the whole building fire resistance.

The mineral fiber ceiling tiles are different from the load-carrying members, which is not the section that can endanger safety. The fireproof limit of the ceiling systems will guarantee evacuation time when the fire breaks out. The mineral fiber ceiling tiles can prevent the flames and heat from spreading to the above ceiling or floor of the room on fire, so to win the precious time to escape and protect the life safety of the people in the building.

6. High humidity resistance

In modern buildings, the sag and deformation of ceiling is not only destroying space aesthetics but also makes the ceiling surface easily broken, dirty and shortened service life. So, the most important standard to measure the ceiling is high quality or not is decided by humidity resistance and anti-sagging. This is also the primary reason to choose ceiling products by our customers.

The natatorium, shower cubicle, changing room, special production areas (such as textile factories etc.) and buildings which some places are not completely closed, these places will cause ordinary ceiling sagging. In these high humidity areas, these should be choosing high moisture proof products. The Ellson high moisture proof ceilings have the best performance for anti-sagging; it can be used in the environment where the relative humidity (RH) below 99%, the temperature below 40 degrees.
